Matrex becomes part of Sito
Sito Ltd has bought the shares of Matrex and all its business activities. This business deal will strengthen Sito’s consultant services in traffic and transport planning as well as logistics.
Matrex skills and know-how will complement Sito’s ongoing services
This business acquisition will enable Sito (www.sito.fi/en) to furnish its clients with more comprehensive consultant services in transport and logistics planning. Tapani Särkkä, Erkki Jaakkola and other staff of Matrex are now working in the service of Sito.
The core competence of Matrex has rested in the modelling and analysis of transport systems. The main services offered have been strategic transport and freight modelling, analysis and traffic simulations.

Matrex has been INRO’s business partner and has represented Emme, Dynameq and STAN software exclusively in Finland, together with its related training. These services will now be transferred to Sito.
