Docent Eeva Ruoff receives Sito Landscape Award The Sito Landscape Day was held on 29 September 2011. Subjects of the seminar day were landscape compensation and awarding the Sito Landscape Award. The second Landscape Award to be given out was awarded to docent Eeva Ruoff for her persevering work in the research and teaching of of gardening in Finland.

The selection criteria of the department of landscape planning were:
"Docent, doctor of philosophy Eeva Ruoff is the leading expert in Finland on the history of gardening and historical landscapes. She has been a strong influence
in Finnish research and literature on gardening for nearly twenty years. During that time, she has also occupied teaching positions in research and educational institutes, and acted as a project expert in several public projects."
